Our team will guide you through every step of your surgical experience. You’ll receive detailed instructions from your surgeon and preoperative staff—please follow them carefully to ensure a smooth and timely procedure.

Here are some general guidelines:

  • A responsible adult must accompany you to the facility and be present when you are ready to leave. Parents are required to remain on site during the procedure.
  • You will be contacted by a nurse who will ask you questions regarding your medical history and confirm any necessary medical tests required.
  • Arrive promptly at your scheduled check-in time.
  • Unless otherwise directed, do not eat or drink after midnight before your procedure.
  • Bathe or shower with an antimicrobial soap the morning of surgery, and brush your teeth without swallowing water.
  • Arrange for a responsible adult to accompany you to and from the hospital.
  • Leave jewelry and valuables at home; bring a case for eyeglasses or contact lenses.
