We offer a full range of advanced imaging services in one convenient location, including CT, X-ray, Ultrasound, MRI, Mammography, Fluoroscopy, DEXA, and select Interventional Radiology procedures.

Advanced CT (Computed Tomography) Imaging

Mammoth Hospital’s state-of-the-art Canon Aquilion CT Scanner helps our team quickly and accurately find the source of pain or injury. CT uses detailed, cross-sectional images to give a clear view of the body, including bones, organs, and blood vessels, so patients can get answers faster and start treatment sooner.

This advanced technology, made possible by the Mammoth Hospital Auxiliary, helps ensure high-quality care when you need it most.

MRI (Magnetic Resonance Imaging)

Our modern MRI scanner features a wide opening designed to improve comfort and reduce feelings of claustrophobia, while providing clear, detailed images.

Ultrasound

We provide comprehensive ultrasound exams, including breast imaging and ultrasound-guided biopsies.

X-ray & Fluoroscopy

Our facility is equipped with new digital X-ray machines, portable X-ray services, and specialized equipment for real-time imaging and minimally invasive procedures.

Interventional Radiology & Pain Management

We offer a variety of image-guided procedures and pain management injections. Please call us for more information.

Heart Imaging

We provide scheduled outpatient echocardiograms (heart ultrasound exams) and CT cardiac calcium score scans to help evaluate heart health.

3D Mammography

Our advanced 3D mammography system delivers clearer breast images with faster exams and improved patient comfort.

Bone Density Testing (DEXA)

Bone density and body composition scans are available to assess bone health and monitor osteoporosis.

What to Expect

X-Ray Exams

If your Mammoth physician has ordered an X-ray, or you have a valid physician prescription, you may walk in for your exam Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

Stat or Urgent X-Rays:

Patients may check in through main admitting during the following hours when the Radiology front desk is closed:

  • Monday–Friday: 6:15 am – 6:00 pm
  • Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm

Ultrasound Exams

If your Mammoth physician has ordered an ultrasound, please call to schedule your appointment:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm

CT, MRI, and Interventional Radiology

Orders for CT, MRI, or Interventional Radiology procedures are sent to our Authorization Team for insurance approval.

  • Authorization typically takes 5–15 business days
  • Once approved, our team will contact you to schedule your exam

Orders from Outside Providers

If your exam was ordered by an outside provider or clinic, please send your order to begin the authorization and scheduling process:

Mammography (Breast Imaging)

Patients age 40 and older may often self-refer for a screening mammogram.

Imaging

We also perform ultrasound and CT guided biopsies and specialty procedures on a case-by-case basis.
