Last Friday, Mammoth Hospital celebrated a major milestone — the Topping of the Steel for the North Wing Project.

When Ryder and Renée, ski school instructors at Mammoth Mountain, decided to start a family, they never imagined the journey ahead would test them so profoundly. After five years of fertility treatment and loss, the joy they felt during a healthy pregnancy was deeply cherished. But within minutes of their daughter Meryn’s birth, that joy turned to fear when she showed none of the typical newborn reflexes and was rushed to the NICU.
