Biography

Dr. Patrick Fitzgerald was born in San Francisco, California-a California native. He grew up in San Mateo, CA, then attended UC Irvine, graduating with a B.S. in Biology. From there he went on to Georgetown University Medical School, receiving his medical degree with Alpha Omega Alpha Honors in 1993. He then went on to Stanford University, where he performed his General Surgery internship and Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery Residency, finishing in 1998.

In 1998, he moved to San Diego, CA. He has practiced general otolaryngology for both adults and pediatrics since. His special interests are nasal and sinus surgery, thyroid/parathyroid surgery and head and neck surgery.

Dr. Fitzgerald has a love for the mountains. He has hiked Mt. Whitney multiple times, enjoys Lake Tahoe and skiing, golf, sailing and pretty much anything to do with the beautiful Sierras. One of his favorite sayings is "The mountains are calling, and I must go."
