Biography

Dr. Vogel was born in Santa Monica, California. After graduating high school, he attended Cornell University in Upstate New York, completing a double major in biology and psychology. He then completed a Master of Science in Cellular & Molecular Biology at SUNY Binghamton. He earned his medical degree in Upstate New York at New York Medical College. Dr. Vogel then moved back to the West Coast and completed his Anesthesia Residency at the University of California, Irvine. During his years at UC Irvine, he married his college sweetheart. After completing a Fellowship in Acute Pain and Regional Anesthesia at UC Irvine, he moved back to the East Coast to be closer to his wife’s family. Over the last 10 years, Dr. Vogel has worked as an anesthesiologist in major medical centers in New Jersey, including Saint Barnabas and Morristown Medical Centers. He also spent a good portion of his time working at surgical centers where he has become even more prolific in regional anesthesia. During his youth, Dr. Vogel spent a lot of time in Mammoth Lakes and even spent one season as a ski instructor on Mammoth Mountain. Dr. Vogel has 4 children. In his spare time, he enjoys attending and coaching children’s sports, skiing, biking, hiking, running, softball, and racquet sports, but his favorite activity is spending time with his family.
