Katherine Fritz, PA-C

Biography

Katherine grew up in rural Maryland and attended college in northwestern Pennsylvania, receiving a Bachelor of Science in psychology. Following college she moved to the mountains of Colorado where she worked as an instructor for Colorado Outward Bound School and as an EMT. Ultimately, she pursued her master's in Physician Assistant Studies from Oregon Health & Science University in Portland, OR, graduating with honors. She started her career as Physician Assistant in the emergency departments of two rural Washington hospitals, followed by a busy urgent care in Portland.

The Eastern Sierras have been a beloved destination for Katherine for many years and she is thrilled to call Mammoth home. In her free time you can find her rock climbing, skiing, trail-running, fly fishing, and learning how to sew her own clothing. She is often accompanied by her partner, Maarten, when in the mountains and is never without the presence of one of her three cats when at home.
