Biography

Karly Dawson grew up in the Eastern Sierra and is grateful to live and practice in her home community. She earned her bachelor’s degree at UC Santa Barbara, and then attended Touro University - California for her graduate studies. She earned her MSPAS and MPH in 2012. She has held a Certificate of Added Qualification in Orthopaedic Surgery since 2019.

Karly’s main clinical interests include knee pathology and reconstructive surgery. She enjoys assisting in all ortho specialties, especially sports medicine and extremity trauma. She appreciates teaching and precepting students and is dedicated to helping her patients recover and get back to the sports and activities they love. In her free time, Karly enjoys music, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures with her family and friends.
