Grace Kim is a board-certified pediatrician at Mammoth Hospital. Dr. Kim grew up near Seattle, WA where she started college early through the UW Academy for Young Scholars. After graduating, she taught middle school and high school science in Los Angeles public schools for several years, worked in education policy, and ran operations for a tech startup in the Bay Area. She then returned to Los Angeles for medical school, graduate school, and residency at UCLA. She completed her training with the Kaiser Permanente Community Medicine Fellowship, through which she helped start a soccer team for new immigrant teens.
Dr. Kim is thrilled to be able to practice and live in beautiful Mammoth Lakes. She is passionate about immigrant advocacy and working with families to help their kids grow up to be healthy, happy adults. She enjoys rock climbing, traveling, music, theatre, and food of all kinds. She will happily take tips on great hikes and climbs, high altitude baking, and how to not fall while snowboarding.
