Biography

Dr. Erin Hammett is a board-certified rheumatologist, internist, and lifestyle medicine specialist with over 8 years of experience in rheumatology. She completed her fellowship at Scripps Clinic/Scripps Green Hospital, where she gained specialized expertise in musculoskeletal ultrasound and rheumatologic diagnostics.

A dedicated educator and mentor, Dr. Hammett has played a pivotal role in training future physicians, earning recognition for excellence in teaching. She has also held leadership positions in medical education, including serving as Director of Medical Education for the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the San Ysidro Health Clinic.

Currently, Dr. Hammett practices as a rheumatologist in a multi-specialty group and works as a hospitalist at Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital. She is excited to join the Mammoth physician team alongside her husband who currently works in Mammoth as a part-time hospitalist.
