Elaine Alrutz, PT

Biography

Elaine has over 35 years of experience working as the physical therapist in both San Diego, CA and Hawaii, in a wide variety of settings including outpatient clinics, acute care hospitals, rehab centers, and an adult day healthcare facility. Elaine was a professional triathlete in her youth and continues to have an interest in long distance open water swimming, and hiking.

Elaine's area of special interest includes manual therapy, especially resolving soft tissue restrictions, and aquatic therapy. She feels that she never stops learning new concepts in her field even after all these years, and loves working with the staff at Mammoth Hospital. Elaine also has three grown children living in different areas of Northern California who, like their mom, love both the ocean and the mountains.
