Biography

Dr. Ward joins Mammoth Hospital most recently from the Lake Almanor area where he worked at Seneca District Hospital.Dr. Ward completed his undergraduate degree at State University of New York, and received his Doctor of Osteopathy Degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine.

After completing both his internship and residency in New York, he worked for nine years at Nye Regional Medical Center in Tonopah where he grew to love the Eastern Sierras. Most recently, at Seneca District Hospital, he did everything from 24-hour urgent care to family practice.

Combining his medical interest in Family Medicine for his deep appreciation of the Eastern Sierra mountains, Dr. Ward found the ideal situation with his work here in Mammoth Hospital's Family Medicine Clinic. In his spare time, he enjoys running, hiking, skiing, road biking, and fishing. He's also a licensed pilot and plans to get back into flying more after his three adult children finish college.
