Biography

Carey has been an occupational therapist since 1996. Currently she focuses on upper extremity rehabilitation. Her background includes a variety of specializations including neuro-rehabilitation, mental health and pediatrics. Prior to joining Mammoth Hospital, she was a full time faculty member at the University of Southern California in the division of Occupational Science and Occupational Therapy. In her role at USC, she lectured throughout the country and in China regarding occupational therapy education as well as participated in multiple research projects.

Carey has been visiting Mammoth Lakes since 1996 and has volunteered with Disabled Sports of Eastern Sierra since 2015. She moved to Mammoth full time with her family in 2017.
