Biography

Brittaney “BK” Vargas is an Emergency Medicine physician at Mammoth Hospital. Dr. Vargas grew up in Beaumont, CA and went to college at UC San Diego. She graduated with a major in Biology and a minor in International Studies. She later attended the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health. Dr. Vargas returned home to California for residency at Loma Linda University, and started at Mammoth Hospital after graduation. Professional interests include wilderness medicine, global health, and diversity, equity, & inclusion in medicine.

Outside of work, Dr. Vargas enjoys traveling and spending time outdoors with her family.
