Amanda Feinberg, MFT (Marriage and Family Therapist) grew up in Southern California then moved to Mammoth Lakes just before turning 18. She considers Mammoth her hometown, having lived here for 25+ years. Amanda has been an active participant in the Mammoth community and feels incredibly blessed to have raised her four children here.

Amanda obtained her Master’s degree in clinical psychology from Antioch University. She interned at North Star Counseling Center where she worked in Mono County schools serving youth (K-12) and their families. She also interned with Antioch Community Therapy Services providing therapy to adults through a free telehealth service. Amanda employs a broad approach to therapy, utilizing different methodologies tailored to individual client needs, including person-centered, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. She is passionate about understanding people’s unique experiences and working together to reach the client’s desired outcome.

When Amanda is not working, she spends most of her time outside, enjoying her family and beloved dog, Koki. Some of Amanda’s hobbies include biking, hiking, skiing, freeform dancing, and travel. She also enjoys hosting gatherings for all occasions and creating opportunities for connection.
