Chadler Burgoyne, MD

Biography

Dr. Burgoyne is a native of the south, growing up in Tennessee and South Carolina. After swimming for the University of South Carolina, he attended medical school at the Medical University Of South Carolina. A long athletic career and a passion for treating athletes led him to the world of orthopedics. Formal orthopedic training was completed at the prestigious Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, followed by sports medicine Fellowship in Manhattan Beach, CA.

During fellowship, Dr. Burgoyne fell in love with the West Coast and adopted it as his new home. After a stint in Hood River, Oregon and working with Mount Hood Meadows, he found his way to his current home in Santa Barbara. He currently works full-time at Sutter Health in Santa Barbara practicing a combination of sports medicine, joint replacements, and trauma.

Despite the beauty and ocean adventures in Santa Barbara, Dr. Burgoyne and his family found themselves in Mammoth Lakes several weeks a year. From snowboarding and mountain biking to exploring alpine lakes, he appreciates communing with nature in the high Sierras. Dr. Burgoyne feels  fortunate to help Mammoth Hospital care for the community, keeping them active and participating in all the activities that the area has to offer.
