Published on June 18, 2026
The Mammoth Hospital Auxiliary's Volunteer Appreciation Luncheon was a celebration of the people whose generosity and dedication have helped shape healthcare in our community for decades. It was also the perfect setting to recognize another remarkable milestone.
During the luncheon, the Auxiliary presented its first gift of $100,000 toward its extraordinary $500,000 commitment to Mammoth Hospital's North Wing Project. The gift will help fund the new hospital café, creating a welcoming space where patients, families, visitors, and staff can gather, recharge, and find comfort during their time at the hospital.
For generations, the Auxiliary has been an invaluable partner to Mammoth Hospital. Through thousands of volunteer hours and fundraising efforts, including The Cast Off thrift store, members have helped provide equipment, programs, and services that benefit patients every day. Their commitment has touched countless lives and continues to strengthen healthcare throughout the Eastern Sierra.
The North Wing Project is a reflection of that same community spirit. As the building nears completion, it stands as a symbol of what is possible when neighbors come together to invest in the future of local healthcare. Every contribution helps create a hospital that will serve generations to come.
