Mammoth's Newest DAISY Nurse - Johnny Trafecanty, RN!

On a particularly difficult night in the ER, Johnny went above and beyond to care for a young patient and parent. Despite visiting hours being over, he ensured the parent could see their child, recognizing the emotional importance of that moment. Throughout the night, he checked in frequently, offering comfort, reassurance, and even tea.

Johnny demonstrated genuine care and compassion, taking the time to engage with the patient on a personal level and making him feel valued not just as a patient but as a person. His empathy, energy, and dedication brought comfort and hope during an extremely stressful time. He exemplifies the highest standard of compassionate care and made a meaningful, lasting impact on the family he supported.

Johnny from a young age decided he wanted to become a nurse because, as a child, he often accompanied his mother, a home care nurse on house calls. It was his firsthand experience seeing his mom at work that showed him how much of a difference nurses made in the lives of their patients.
