David Momberg, MBA, MHA

Chief Financial Officer

David Momberg joined Mammoth Hospital in 2026 and brings more than 15 years of healthcare finance and operational leadership experience.

David most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of El Centro Regional Medical Center, a 161-bed acute-care hospital serving the Imperial Valley. In that role, he provided leadership across financial operations, revenue cycle, contracting, and strategic planning, and played a key role in strengthening the hospital’s financial performance and long-term sustainability.

His career also includes extensive leadership experience with Community Health Clinics and Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs), giving him a broad understanding of community-based healthcare, access to care, government reimbursement, and the financial and operational challenges of serving diverse populations.

David was also part of the leadership team that guided El Centro Regional Medical Center through its transition into the newly formed Imperial Valley Healthcare District, a countywide healthcare organization created to strengthen healthcare access and sustainability across Imperial County.

David has held a variety of finance and leadership positions throughout Southern California. He holds a Master of Health Administration (MHA), a Master of Business Administration (MBA), and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Finance.

David and his family have long enjoyed spending time in the Eastern Sierra, first visiting the area each summer while his son competed in motocross. Those visits eventually led to a love of the area and a decision to make Mammoth home. Outside of work, David and his wife enjoy hiking, mountain biking, and just about anything that gets them outdoors.
