Tomi Bortolazzo, M.D., F.A.C.S.,is certified by the American Board of Urology and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of California at San Diego in biochemistry and cell biology. Dr. Bortolazzo earned her medical degree from the Chicago Medical School and completed her residency in surgery and urology at Loma Linda University Medical Center. She joined Mammoth Hospital / Sierra Park Urology in 2005. Prior to moving to Mammoth, she worked in Upland, California, at the San Antonio Urology Medical Group, Inc., for 11 years. |
| Dr. Bortolazzo was the youngest person and first woman to become San Antonio community Hospital’s Chief of Staff in 2002 – 2003. She was also the first female president on a medical staff comprised of 500 physicians of which 15% were women. Her fellow colleagues referred to her as a highly respected physician and surgeon in the field of adult and pediatric urology, a specialty dominated by men. She personally strives to ensure that all patients in need of medical care get the same quality of care she would give her family and friends. |
