Paws-4-Healing Pet Partner Volunteers
Paws-4-Healing Pet Partner volunteers and their animals are thoroughly trained and evaluated to provide "Animal Assisted Activities" to the patients, family members, and staff at Mammoth Hospital and Sierra Park Clinics. Animal Assisted Activities provide opportunities for social and emotional benefits to enhance the quality of the patient's experience at Mammoth Hospital. The handler and animal are certified as Pet Partner teams through Paws-4-Healing, an affiliate group of Delta Society. For more information, visit www.paws4healing.info.
